Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zeqo (“Zeqo”, “we”, “us”), operated by Zeqo(India), collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our websites, products, and services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up or sign in.
• Service data — the domains, websites, and monitoring configuration you add (e.g. URLs, client labels, alert channels).
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor (see below). We store a customer reference and subscription status, not your full card details.
• Usage and device data — log data, IP address, and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.
• Cookies — a strictly necessary cookie for authentication/session, and an analytics cookie that is on by default; you can opt out via the consent banner. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data, and control cookies in your browser.
• DMARC aggregate reports — if you enable DMARC reporting for a domain, mailbox providers send aggregate reports to a Zeqo address you configure. We parse these to show sending sources and pass/fail rates. Reports can contain sending IP addresses of systems that send mail using your domain.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To run monitoring and send you the alerts and reports you request.
• To process payments, trials, and subscriptions.
• To communicate with you about your account and important changes.
• To detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We share data with vendors strictly to operate the Service, including:

• Dodo Payments — payment processing and merchant of record (billing, tax/VAT).
• Netcup — application hosting and database (self-hosted PostgreSQL).
• Emailit — transactional and alert email.
• Google Analytics — product analytics.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. As a guide:

• Account & configuration — kept while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30 days of account deletion, unless we must retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons.
• Monitoring history (check results, alerts, incidents, DMARC reports) — retained on a rolling basis to power trends and history, then aged out; you can delete a domain or site to remove its associated history.
• Operational logs — short-lived, retained only as long as needed to operate and secure the Service.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@zeqo.app.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
